The Kansas City Chiefs took on the San Diego Chargers on Halloween for Monday Night Football. Kansas City beat San Diego in overtime with a score of 23-20. Ryan Succop kicked a 30 yard field goal to end the game and advance the Chiefs record to 4-3.

The Chiefs were first to get on the board with Matt Cassel hitting Jonathan Baldwin for a touchdown.

The Chargers kept up with the Chiefs for most of the game but the Chargers tied the score at 20 in the 4th quarter sending the game into overtime. The Chiefs are now 4-3.

“Our guys had a common belief that we were going to come out on top. I thought we did a lot of good things early; we were staying out of some of the things that get you beat,” Head coach Todd Haley said. “We made some mistakes, everybody, coaches and players alike, but we were able to overcome it by sticking together and not giving up. I think that will continue to serve us well going forward.”
