PRAIRIE VILLAGE, Kan. -- A driver missed a stoplight at 75th & Roe in Prairie Village, Kan. and ended up crashing into a house.
The homeowners were inside and the husband, Brian Nakonechny, tells FOX 4 his wife was in their bedroom when the car pushed her 15 feet across the house. He told FOX 4's Kathy Quinn that there is a waterbed in their bedroom that is nowhere near where it should be.
The wife is in the hospital and is being treated, but there is no word yet on her condition.
Police are investigating, as it is unclear if the woman slid through the stoplight because of the slick conditions or if other factors were involved.
Nakonechny says this is the second car that has crashed into their house. It happened to them almost two years ago.
Worse still, the homeowner says the driver could not provide vehicle insurance information.
