La Bodega’s Pan Seared Scallops

La Bodega owner, James Taylor, and Chef, English Renshaw, stopped by with some New Year's Eve options that La Bodega's two metro locations are offering.

On Saturday, the restaurants will have a four-course dinner or unlimited tapas. Below are the reservation options and prices. They advise you to call ahead.

Reservation options:

Option 1
4:40 - 6:00pm
$35 per person
Reservation is for 1 hour and 45 minutes

Option 2
6:30 - 8:00pm
$50 per person
Reservation is for 1 hour and 45 minutes

Option 3
Ring in the New Year with us!
8:30 - 12:00 a.m.
$65 per person
Table for the evening, 2 drink tickets (house wine, Sangria, wells & drafts) and a champagne toast at Midnight.

*Credit Card information is required when reservation is made.

La Bodega's Pan Seared Scallops Recipe


5 Scallops 20-30 count
1/2 cup white beans
2 ounces spanish white wine
1/4 cup chorizo strips
1/3 cup canned tomatoes
1 oz minced garlic
1 1/2 ounces olive
1 teaspoon chopped parsley
1/4 ounce fried arugula
Kosher salt and pepper to taste


Pan sear scallops in stewed white beans, chorizo, tomatoes and fried augula.
