KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Definitely a special occasion recipe, but I guarantee no one can eat just one.
This delicious, savory appetizer brings back childhood memories. They were a staple at every party Lisa Farmer's mom & dad hosted. She says they are a great addition to a meat and cheese platter.
Hot Cheese Olives
- 48 green pimento stuffed olives
- 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
- ½ cup soft butter
- 1 cup sifted flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Blend cheese and butter with fingers. Stir in flour, salt and paprika. Mix well. Wrap one teaspoon of mixture around each olive. Roll and place on baking sheet - freeze to set. Place in zip top bag.
Bake 15 minutes.
