Facebook Pictures Lead to Man’s Arrest after Marriage Proposal

BURLINGTON, VERMONT — He got up the courage to ask her to marry him, and she said yes. Police did too after they saw the pictures posted on her Facebook page.

Police recognized the stolen engagement ring from her photos and tracked down  25-year-old Ryan Jarvis. He confessed to stealing the ring from a Zales jewelry store before popping the question.

As for the wedding, the bride-to-be has refused to comment if the engagement’s still on.
