LAWRENCE, Kan. — Two different Kansas Jayhawks had double doubles on Wednesday night, as Kansas extended it’s dominance over Kansas State in Big 12 basketball with a 67-49 win at Allen Fieldhouse.

Kansas streaked to an early 13-3 lead in the first half, and then led by as many as 18 points in the first 20 minutes. Led by junior forward Thomas Robinson and junior guard Travis Releford, Kansas led 35-20 at the half.

But Kansas State pulled to within 3 points in the second half behind strong shooting from the field, and two 3-point shots by senior forward Jamaar Samuels. But Kansas answered with two consecutive 3-point shots from guard Connor Teahan, and the Jayhawks were never really threatened after that.
