LENEXA, Kan. -- A Lenexa company is doing its part to help homeless kids in the metro. J-Tek held a technology recycling drive on Saturday.
Dozens brought in old computers, printers, scanner and more to help the cause. They paid a small recycling fee and some also donated money. The money from the event will go to Kids TLC.
"I went on a tour of the campus and instantly fell in love with everything they do," said Jason McAnich with J-Tek. "They are such an important aspect of the community. We wanted to help out. Since then, we have tried to help them in any way we can."
