Royals Agree to Terms with Pitchers

KANSAS CITY, Mo — The Kansas City Royals agreed to terms with three pitchers on Tuesday. Right-handed pitchers Luke Hochevar and Felipe Paulino, along with left-handed pitcher Jonathan Sanchez, all agreed to one-year contracts for the 2012 season.

All three players have avoided arbitration by doing so. Details and terms of the contracts have not been released.

Outfielder Alex Gordon is the only arbitration-eligible player left on the Royals roster.
