Deputies Asking for Public’s Help to ID Person of Interest in Burglary
GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. — Authorities say that they want to question a man seen in a gas station surveillance video in connection to a Grain Valley home burglary.
According to Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies, a Grain Valley man reported that someone broke into his home on January 16th, and stole some video games and other items along with his pickup truck.
The truck, described as a 2004 GMC, was later recovered in St. Joseph. Detectives say that the truck was spotted at a Kansas City-area gas station, and that they want to question a man seen in the gas station at that time and who may have information in the case.
The person is described as a white male with short brown hair and tattoos on the outside of both forearms and top of his right hand. He was wearing Carhartt overalls and a white short sleeved t-shirt with dark colored boots.
Investigators are asking anyone who knows this person to call the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Division at 816-524-4302 or the TIPS Hotline at (816) 474-TIPS.
