Second Man Arrested, Questioned About Woman’s Murder

MERRIAM, Kan. — Gregory Ojeda, 24, the second of two men wanted for questioning in the Jan. 20th death of 37-year-old Toby Rock has been arrested on unrelated charges.

Police arrested another man, Jason Munjak, 37, Wednesday, Jan. 25., and he has been charged with first degree murder.

Rock’s body was found by a maid at the Homestead Suites Hotel, located near I-35 and Shawnee Mission Parkway in Merriam, Kan. Police have not said how the mother of five died but say there were obvious signs of trauma.

The woman’s mother and sister said she struggled with a drug addiction but never exposed it to her children and spent regular time with them. Rock lived with her family and kids in Topeka, but often visited the Kansas City area.

Authorities did not specifically the charges for which Ojeda was arrested,
