KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A metro adult business has found a creative way to push the envelope of Missouri’s tough no-nudity laws.

State statutes regulate what dancers can and can’t wear on stage, so the owners of Bazooka’s have found a new way of entertaining their customers. Television screens are now set up next to the stage, showing videos of women with little or no clothing on.

Often times, the woman on the stage is the same one in the video.

Anti-nude dancing advocate Phillip Cosby of the American Family Association of Kansas and Missouri says that Bazooka’s is being creative, but eventually the law will catch up with them.

“Bazooka’s is certainly trying to be creative to escape what is inevitable,” said Cosby. “The law is very clear.”

Neither the club owner or it’s attorney were available for comment, but club attorney Dick Bryant told the Kansas City Star that the projection of images of the nude dancers complies with the state statutes and the U.S. Constitution.
