Missing St. Joseph Girl Found Safe

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — Police have located a missing 13-year-old St. Joseph girl last seen at a shopping center late Wednesday afternoon. Police would only say she was found safe.

Taylor Dittmar was last seen leaving East Hills Shopping Center, wearing a dark hoodie with a pink shirt underneath, grey sweatpants and carrying a white, multicolored purse.

St. Joseph Police Capt. Kevin Castle said a surveillance camera captured Taylor leaving the shopping center with an unidentified young male. A registered sex offender was also spotted leaving the shopping center behind the pair. Officers spoke with him and said he was not involved in the girl’s disappearance.
