Suspect Dies in Car Arson Spree

PLATTE CITY, Mo. — Police say that a man found dead inside a burning truck was the one who set the vehicle on fire – along with a lot others in a quiet Platte City neighborhood on Friday morning.

Police say that the suspect set at least 12 vehicles, including the truck he was found dead in, ablaze during a spree on Friday morning.

The identity of the man has not been released.
