Favorite 2012 Super Bowl Commercials

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — I watched as many Super Bowl commercials as possible in between sprints to the kitchen for more hot chicken wings.

Here are my favorites so far, starting with the one that continues to amuse me when I think of it, but maybe that’s because I have teenagers.

“Best gift ever!” Thank you Chevy, for making me laugh. The facial expressions are dead-on!

Having kids is likely also the reason I chose this next one for my second favorite: Relief! From TaxAct.com.

And it wouldn’t be a Super Bowl without some sexual innuendos. Guys, really. Valentine’s Day isn’t that complicated.

And I suppose there’s nothing like a slap in the face from a beautiful woman and the memory of a beautiful car.

Hyundai didn’t use a lovely face and body. Instead, it used a dying boss and a quick-thinking employee for its pitch.

And careerbuilder.com brought back the monkeys.

Bring in John Stamos for Dannon Oikos Greek Yogurt!

Then Jerry Seinfeld and Jay Leno for Acura!

The commercials with animals were fun, as always. The dog getting in shape to run with the Volkswagon. The pup crossing the finish line in his Sketchers. And the poor Bud Light  Weego dog.
