Skunk Creates Smelly Situation at Wal-Mart
ALLIDO, Ill. — Customers at an Illinois Wal-Mart were exposed to a foul smell after a skunk entered the store. The animal sprayed toward an employee that tried to remove it by poking it with a stick.
The skunk ran out of the door and ran to a nearby vending machine, leaving a rather unpleasant smell. Police were called, but they directed the business to contact a wildlife trapper to handle the situation.
Wildlife experts came to remove the skunk from a nearby pop machine. The skunk was unharmed and released back into nature.
Even though the skunk was no longer in the store, employees and customers said they could still smell an odor a day later.
