GRANDVIEW, Mo. -- Police responding to a burglary call at an apartment complex late Monday morning encountered two suspects who officers say tried to run them over with their car, prompting one officer to shoot at the approaching car.

Grandview Police were sent to investigate two suspicious men at the Arbors Apartments southeast of Blue Ridge Blvd. and Longview Road. They saw two men running to their vehicle, a dark blue 2003 Monte Carlo.
