DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — After rain postponed the Daytona 500 on Sunday for the first time since the event began in 1959, NASCAR hunkered down for another wet day on Monday.
The race was rescheduled for 12:01 p.m. ET, but organizers pushed the start time back to 6 p.m. That’s if the weather cooperates.
The National Weather Service forecast called for an 80 percent chance of precipitation along the central Florida coast.
Should the race actually happen, you can watch it on FOX 4 News beginning at 6 p.m.
