Buying groceries to feed your family can take a huge chunk of your budget.  There are ways to ease that burden.  Stacking coupons on top of sales at stores will help you stretch your budget.  This is a list of the groceries I’m buying this week.  For a look at the other deals available, click here or here.  Remember, Wal-Mart will price match many items.

ALDI

  • Avocados, $0.19 each — buying 5
  • Roma Tomatoes, $0.79 per 20-oz. tray — buying 3
  • Broccoli Crowns, $0.99 per 16-oz. tray — buying 2
  • Navel Oranges, $1.48 per 4-lb. bag — buying 2
  • Grapes, $1.58 per 2-lb container — buying 1
  • Burman’s Cocktail Sauce, $0.99 — buying 1

(If you skip the Hamburger, Tyson Any’tizers, Cheez-Its and Pinto Beans you can buy everything else on the list with the amount of food stamps you would get for two people in Kansas.  It’s about $31.50 per person a week.  Your Final Total for the rest of the list would be $61.23 plus the price of milk!)
