Police Search for Suspects in South Side Robbery

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down two suspects wanted in connection to a restaurant robbery on Friday evening.

According to police, two men armed with guns robbed the Church’s Chicken in the 9300 block of Blue Ridge Boulevard around 5:45 p.m.  Police say that one of them was armed with what appeared to be a shotgun, and the other was brandishing a large black revolver.

The first suspect is described as a light-skinned black male in his late teens to early twenties.  He is approximately 5’06″ with a thin build.  His hair was braided, and he was wearing a dark winter coat with fur around the hood and dark pants.

The second suspect is described as a black male in his late teens to early twenties.  He is approximately 6′ with a thin build.  He was wearing a red hooded jacket and khaki pants.
