Buying groceries to feed your family can take a huge chunk of your budget.  There are ways to ease that burden.  Stacking coupons on top of sales at stores will help you stretch your budget.  This is a list of the groceries I’m buying this week.  For a look at the other deals available, click here or here.  Remember, Wal-Mart will price match many items.

ALDI

  • Navel Oranges, $1.48/4 lb. bag — Buying 2 bags
  • Florida Grapefruit, $0.29 each — Buying 10
  • Little Salad Bar Garden Salad, $0.49/bag — Buying 3
  • Peaches or Plums, $0.29 each — Buying 6

(Fresh Meat Special Buy Day — Price good 3/7 ONLY)

  • Tyson Fresh Pork Sirloin Roast, $1.99/lb. — Buying about $6.00’s worth, if possible

Hy-Vee

  • Barilla Pasta, $1.38 each (Use $1/2 Barilla Pasta printable)  Final Price — $0.88 each — Buying 2
  • Del Monte Fruit Naturals, $1.25 each (Use $1/2 Del Monte Fruit Cup Snacks from 1/8 RP)  Final Price — $0.75 each — Buying 4
  • Activia Multipack, $2.00 (Use $1/1 from 2/12 SS)  Final Price $1.00 — Buying 1
  • Butter Kernel Veggies, 2/$1.00 — Buying 4

(2-Day Sale 3/8-3/9)

  • Family Size Frito Lay, Doritos, Fritos, Cheetos, Munchies or Dips, $2.99 each (Use $0.75/2 from 2/26 Pepsi Moments insert)  Final Price $2.62 each — Buying 2

Price Chopper

  • Frozen Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast, $1.29/lb. — Buying 8 lbs.
  • California Red Ripe Strawberries, $2.99/2 lb. pkg — Buying 1
  • Williams Taco Seasoning, 3/$1 (use Free Williams Mix when you buy Chili Mix from (12/11/11 SS)  Final Price $0.22 each — Buying 2

(4 Day Sale 3/7-3/10)

  • Eckrich Smoked Sausage, $1.99/ pkg — buying 2
  • Lean Pork Spareribs, $1.99/lb — buying 1 Cry-O-Vac Pkg — Hoping it will cost around $5.00
  • Hot House Beefsteak Tomatoes, $0.77/lb. — buying 4 lbs.

Target

FINAL TOTAL — $64.61 (Plus you’ll have a $5 Target Gift Card to Spend on something like Milk!)
