Thousands Try Out for X FACTOR in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. –  Thousand of aspiring superstars lined up before daybreak to try out for the X FACTOR. They all want to take home the $5 million prize!

An estimated 7,000 people lined up at Kemper Arena before the sun came up. They showed judges in Kansas City they have what it takes to make their dreams of being a superstar come true.

Willie Wren was the first person to audition for judges in Kansas City. He says all of the hours of waiting paid off.

“It was well worth it because I am the next X FACTOR,” Wren said. “That $5 million is mine!”

People learned their fate as they filtered in and out of Kemper Arena. One contestant’s dad told her that she couldn’t hold a tune. Now, she will move on to the next round.

Many of the Kansas City contestants will move on to round two. The reality show hopefuls will be working to get a step closer to stardom.
