FOX 4 Cost Cutters: Meal Plan for the Week of 3/21

A big part of cutting costs when it comes to your grocery bill is to actually use what you buy.  If you buy too much of something … or run across a great deal, freeze it if you can.  You can also use what you buy if you plan your meals around what’s on sale at stores every week.  Here’s what I’ll be eating this week:

Breakfast

  • Eggs and Chorizo
  • Fruit Salad
  • Pop-Tarts

Lunch

  • Salad
  • Burritos
  • Leftovers

Supper

  • BBQ Ribs, Cantaloupe, Tossed Salad
  • Grilled Chicken Breast, Fruit Salad, Coleslaw
  • Homemade Pizza, Tossed Salad
  • Chicken Kabobs, Pasta Salad
  • Emeril’s Pork and Chorizo Burgers, Veggie Relish
  • Chicken Enchiladas, Corn
