KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The 7th Annual Fashion For a Cause event was held the evening of Friday, April 27 at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, hosted by E! News host Guliana Rancic.
The night kicked off with an exclusive Patron’s Party in the main lobby of the Kauffman Center. Then guests made their way to a fashion show, which featured the latest styles from trendy boutiques from across the metro.
After the models finished strutting their stuff, it was time to reveal the four women who have spent the past three months going through a health transformation challenge. Their new bodies and looks were showcased and awarded with a booming applause.
It was a dazzling and magical evening for everyone who attended. Giuliana Rancic helped make the night even more special, by adding her bubbly personality while emceeing to the fashion show, and also by sharing with the audience her recent experience battling breast cancer.
Proceeds from the event benefit Truman Medical Center, specifically their Women’s Health Services department.
