Pictures: Jill Biden Visits Metropolitan Community College

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Dr. Jill Biden was in Kansas City on Monday on her “Community College to Career” tour.

Earlier this year, Dr. Biden and U.S. Labor Secretary Hilda Solis took a three-day bus tour focused on the unique role community colleges play in developing a highly-skilled 21st Century workforce to meet emerging regional business needs.

Dr. Biden and Assistant Secretary Oates visited the Metropolitan Community College to learn more about the school’s health services and sciences industry partnerships.
