SHAWNEE, Kan. — If there’s one thing kids know a lot about, it’s birthday parties. That’s why 16 first graders at Good Shepherd in Shawnee collected $135 to donate to CFCA’s Birthday Foundation.

The Christian Foundation for Children and Aging helps make birthday celebrations possible for kids in under-developed countries who’ve never celebrated before.

FOX 4 spoke with CFCA and a few of the first graders who took part in the collection.
