KCK Apartment Fire Leaves 5 Hurt, 20 Homeless

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — A Kansas City, Kansas, apartment fire left five people injured and 20 people homeless on Tuesday night.

The blaze broke out in the apartment building in the 1200 block of Central Avenue around 11:15 p.m. According to authorities, two of the five people hurt in the blaze were seriously injured.

There is no word on the cause of the fire. The Red Cross is assisting those displaced by the blaze.
