Higher Prices Driving Rising Health Care Spending

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A new report from the Health Care Cost Institute finds that higher prices are the main factor in rising health care spending for those with private insurance.

It's not that those people are seeking more health care - they're seeking less during the recession. And FOX 4 Medical Reporter Meryl Lin McKean says many of the insured are getting sticker shock from out-of-pocket costs.
