Man Faces Charges in Trail Attack

SEDALIA, Mo.. — A Sedalia man is behind bars after a woman reported being raped at knife point near the Katy Trail on June 14. Ronald Greer, 43, has been charged with rape, unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action, and stalking.

Greer fled the scene on foot but was located in the Centennial Park. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and held without bond for an active parole violation warrant.
