CARINTHIAN, Austria — These days you never know where there’s going to be a camera. One certainly wouldn’t think there would be one in the woods.

But there is.

And one Austrian politician learned that after he dropped his drawers in a heated moment of love-making.

According to Time.com, the unnamed politician chose a spot right in front of hidden cameras owned by southern Austria’s Carinthian Hunting Society. The incident has set off a debate about privacy in Austria — and whether wildlife cameras should be marked.

The Carinthian society says the tree-mounted cameras, equipped with motion sensors and infrared night vision, are meant to blend in so animals don’t notice them. A lawyer for the hunting society said the area is marked with no-trespassing signs.

Perhaps that’s why the politician chose it — for privacy. But it backfired. Still, the politician’s sex tape won’t go viral — that’s because in Austria there is a $25,000 fine for breaching people’s privacy by taping them in sexual situations.
