KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City’s Police Athletic League usually offers kids a cool place to go in the summer. On Monday, the temperature inside was equal to the temperature outside because the building’s air conditioning went out.

Kids showed up for the reading program and other activities that take place at the center despite having to deal with the warm temperature.

“It was 100 degrees outside so that makes it 105 degrees in here,” said one of the administrators.  “We have fans that are running, but the kids are still hot and exhausted.”

All Seasons Heating and Cooling donated their services to fix the building’s a/c.
