Cameron Cancels July 4th Fireworks Display
CAMERON, Mo. — There won’t be any 4th of July fireworks in Cameron, Missouri, this year after authorities on Friday announced a burn ban due to the hot, dry conditions.
City Manager Mark Gaugh and Fire Chief Mike O’Donnel announced an immediate ban on all outdoor burning and fireworks within the city limits of Cameron and the Cameron Rural Fire District.
The ban includes postponing the city’s planned 4th of July fireworks display.
