Teen Dies in Double Shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police are investigating a double shooting that left one person dead. Officers were called to 30th & Oakley around 3 a.m. Saturday. When they arrived, they found two teens suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both were taken to area hospitals where 16-year-old Tony Hughes later died. A 17-year-old female is in critical condition but is expected to be okay.

A witness told police that the victims were on the porch of a home when a red car drove by and fired shots. Police don’t have any suspect description at this time. There are no suspects in custody at this time.
