KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The 83rd All-Star game kicks off Tuesday, July 10, at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City. But did you know the first-ever All-Star game was intended to be a one-time event? It was designed to coincide with the World’s Fair in Chicago. Eighty years later, the game is the oldest and longest running game of any major North-American professional sport.

And with 80 years of history, there are some memorable moments. FOX 4′s Sarah Clark featured three of them Tuesday morning during the 9 a.m. show — in between laughs brought on by FOX 4′s Nick Vasos and Mark Alford.
