KC Paints the Town Red (Carpet)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — It’s an event, a sight, like none other Kansas City has seen.

The Plaza streets are covered in red carpet, thousands of fans stand back, watch and wave as their favorite All-Stars roll by.

The 8th Annual MLB All-Star Red Carpet Show is presented by Chevrolet.

Approximately 4,129 feet of red carpet stretches half a mile from the corner of Ward Parkway & Wornall Road to Nichols Road & Central Street.

George Brett is serving as Grand Marshal. Brett, of course, is MLB All-Star Ambassador and 13-time MLB Star.
