KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Our Problem Solvers try to notify you of every scam we hear about, but we all know there are always new scams popping up, nationally and internationally!  One app, called Scam Detector says it can help educate you on hundreds of scams, so you don’t become a victim.

The app has been around for a while as an iPhone-only application, but has just released an Android version.  The free app houses hundreds of detailed scam stories, that you can share on Facebook or Twitter.

Type in a couple key phrases in the Search function, anything from “hotel” to “e-mail” and you’ll get a selection of possible scams.  You can also search by category: Internet, travel and face-to-face are a couple options available.
