Authorities Looking for KCK Bank Robbery Suspects

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Authorities are looking for a pair of suspects after the Bank Midwest on Rainbow Boulevard was robbed on Friday morning.

According to Kansas City Kansas Police, two men walked into the bank shortly after 9:00 a.m. One suspect jumped on the counter, announced the robbery, and emptied the teller drawers.

The second robber controlled the lobby with a gun, believed to be a silver revolver.

The robbers left the bank, and were seen getting into a dark-colored, possibly black, late 1990′s model Chevy Tahoe being driven by a black woman. They were last seen leaving the area in a westbound direction.

The first robber is described as a black man in his late 20s or early 30s, 5’9″ in height with a medium build. He wore a multi-colored shirt, jeans, Ray-Ban sunglasses, and had dreadlocks pulled back into a ponytail.

The second robber is described as a black man in his late 20s or early 30s, 6’0″ in height with a heavy build. He worse a red baseball hat, grey t-shirt, and jean shorts. He has a heavy, black beard as well.
