Randy Lande Pleads Guilty to Sex Crimes Against 8-Year-Old Girl
INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — Randy Lande, 47, pleaded guilty on Monday to multiple felony counts related to the rape and sodomy of an 8-year-old girl in Independence, Mo., in 2011.
Lande, of Independence, pleaded guilty to 12 felony counts including forcible rape, statutory rape in the first degree, five counts of statutory sodomy in the first degree and five counts of forcible sodomy. He also pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor of supplying liquor to a minor.
According to prosecutor Jean Peters-Baker, as part of his plea agreement, Lande will be sentenced to 30 years on each felony and one year on the misdemeanor. All sentence will run concurrently.

According to court records, the young girl was at a birthday party in February 2011. She spent the night at a home where Lande was staying when the assault occurred.
