Mother of Boy Found Wandering Streets Charged with Child Endangerment

BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. — The mother of a five-year-old boy found wandering the streets Thursday morning was arrested and has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

Police said a passerby found the boy near AA Hwy and Adams Dairy Parkway in Blue Springs, Mo., around 7 a.m. Thursday. The passerby called police and stayed with the boy until authorities arrived.

No other information has been released at this time.
