F-Word: Out of the Mouth of Babes

Bristol Palin is denying the Huffington Post report that her son Tripp, 3, used a gay slur  that starts with an ‘F’ on the Lifetime reality show called, “Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp.”

Palin said her son instead used another well-known ‘F’ word.

The clip shows Bristol Palin (wearing a Missouri sweatshirt, by the way) with her sister Willow, telling Tripp he can’t go swimming.

Like many reality shows, the scene seems orchestrated to induce a temper tantrum… and the three-year-old delivers when they refuse his desire to go into the pool.

Whatever he said was bleeped out although their reaction to it wasn’t. Bristol and Willow giggle over his outburst.

Enough viewers who saw the episode were appalled– and began criticizing Palin on the web. She responded on her own blog, saying, “I sometimes struggle to raise Tripp…. Let me be clear. I’m not proud of what he did say. Sadly, he used a different ‘f word.’”

Of course, Palin-followers may remember that in 2010 Aunt Willow was criticized for derogatory comments made to a classmate in which she called him “so gay” and “such a faggot.”
