Dog Rescued After Signs of Heat Exhaustion

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — The Humane Society of Missouri is investigating a case of animal abuse in St. Louis. A dog was rescued from an area home after being chained up on a back porch outside in the 100 degree heat.

A vet said the dog showed signs of being overheated with symptoms of tremors, bright red skin and red eyes.
