Missing KCK Woman Found Safe

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Police say that a missing woman who was suffering from dementia has been found safe.

Ruby Sweet, 72, was found near 86th and Osage around 6:45 a.m. in Kansas City, Kansas.

She had been missing since around 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, and police had issued a Silver Alert for her. According to authorities, Sweet was in good condition despite missing a couple doses of her medication.

Sweet was taken to an area hospital as a precaution.
