Security Sweeps KCI After Bomb Threat

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Authorities are investigating after someone called in a bomb threat to Kansas City International Airport on Friday afternoon.

According to KCI officials, someone called in the threat involving terminals A and B around 2:00 p.m. Security teams swept both terminals and garages and did not find anything.

The terminals were not evacuated during the search, and no flights were delayed, officials said.

The incident remains under investigation.
