Bad Day for Truck Driver Hauling Windows

NORTH KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Drivers had to navigate around a sharp mess Wednesday when a truck hauling plate glass windows lost some of its load in North Kansas City.

The driver told police he turned a corner to make a delivery at 14th and Burlington when the straps holding the windows broke.

“It feels like Monday and it ain’t even Monday. It’s Wednesday, but it feels like a Monday,” Joe Rodriguez said.

The glass windows amounted to a $7,000-8,000 loss.
