Million Dollar Lottery Ticket Sold in Missouri
ST. LOUIS — Lottery officials in Missouri hope a million dollar winner will come forward. A gas station in Maryland Heights sold a ticket that matched all the white balls. That means the ticket is worth $1 million.
Someone purchased the Powerball ticket on August 4. Lotto officials are determined to find the winner. They’ve even placed a big sign in the window of the store where the ticket was sold. They think it’s possible that the person who has the winning ticket may have been passing through the area since the gas station sits along I-70.
The store has sold winning tickets before including a $100,000 winner. Since the current jackpot soared to $320 million, people are hoping the gas station has another pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
