Three People Found Dead in Cameron Home
CAMERON, Mo. — Three people were found dead in a home in Cameron, Missouri, on Friday evening.
According to authorities, police were called to the home on the 100 block of East Fourth Street around 4:40 p.m. on Friday afternoon. Police say that when they entered the home, they smelled a heavy smoke-like odor and found the bodies of three people inside.
Firefighters say that they were not called to the house on a fire call, but there appeared to be burned and melted blinds in the front window of the home.
The names of the victims have not been released. FOX 4 has been told that a man lived in the home with his two children, but it is not clear if they are the three victims found inside the home.
Authorities will be holding a press conference over the incident on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m.
