Fire Investigated at Mazda Dealership

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Firefighters are trying to figure out what started a fire at a Mazda Auto Dealership. Crews were called to the building at 78th & Metcalf around 2 a.m. on Sunday.

When they arrived, the found heavy smoke coming from a large garage behind the main building of the dealership. Crews then called a 2nd alarm after finding significant fire in the building.

It took crews about 20 minutes to put out the fire. The building sustained heavy smoke damage.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

No one was hurt.
