Prairie Village HyVee Gas Station Robbed at Gun Point

PRAIRIE VILLAGE, Kan. — Police are investigating after the HyVee gas station on State Line Road in Prairie Village, Kan., was robbed Monday afternoon.

Police said a black male, armed with a handgun, entered the store around 3:20 p.m. Police said he pointed the gun at an employee and demanded money from the register. The suspect left the store and headed southbound on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male with a medium complexion and thin mustache and small patch of hair on his chin. He is believed to be 24-26 years of age, 5’10” and of medium build. He was wearing gray hooded sweatshirt at the time.
