Pay It Forward: Thanks to a “Soldiers Angel”

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — As our soldiers protect our freedom overseas, members of a metro American Legion unit are sending them care packages to remind them of home. But the economy nearly ended the unit’s “Soldiers Angels” program until one member stepped in with her own money.

Now, American Legion Unit 370 wants to say thanks in this week’s Pay It Forward. FOX 4′s Kathy Quinn is Working for You with the report.
