Wanted: Kids to Vote for a New Burger King Crown
OLATHE, Kan. — I would bet that there are few reading this who have never worn a Burger King crown.
The crown has been around for decades, but recently Burger King felt they needed a new look to their old crown.
The restaurant chain called on children ages 6-12 to design a new crown, and now the finalists have been chosen from more than 75,000 entries.
Among the finalists is an Olathe fifth-grader named Olivia Mueller.
Mueller goes to Walnut Grove Elementary School. If she wins, her prize will be an all-inclusive paid vacation for a family of four to LEGOLAND Parks. She would also become the national face on the limited edition BK crown.
The winner will be chosen after a 12-day voting period. To see the designs and then vote, click here. But you must be 12 years old and younger to vote!
