Teens Post Party Pics On Facebook, Get Busted By Family

TEGA CAY, S.C. — Not getting invited to a friend’s party is already a bummer, but imagine discovering three months later that the party was held at your house! A group of South Carolina teens are in trouble after they broke into a family’s home, partied, and then posted the pictures on Facebook.

The family, according to WCNC, was on vacation over the 4th of July weekend when the break-in occurred. Three months later, the homeowner saw pictures of his children’s classmates at a raucous party — at a location that looked awfully familiar. Turns out, the teens broke a screen to get into the house, and then cleaned up all their evidence after the party. Except, that is, for the digital evidence. Cops told WCNC that since the pictures were tagged, they’ve got a suspect list to start with.
